A little more than a clothing store, a whole lot of community. 🛍️✨ This week, we’re shining a spotlight on @fancygroceries, a thoughtfully curated menswear shop that has been in business for five years, with over two and a half of those spent right here on Trade Street! At the heart of Fancy Groceries is a commitment to doing things differently. Think timeless menswear, traditional natural fibers like cotton, linen, wool, and hemp, and clothing made to stand the test of time. With garments sourced from Japan, Italy, Germany, Canada, and the USA, the focus is on quality over quantity and pieces meant to be worn, loved, and eventually handed down. It’s a refreshing approach in a world of fast fashion. But for founder Max, Fancy Groceries has always been about more than what’s on the racks. It’s a welcoming space to grab a coffee, strike up a conversation, and simply enjoy being part of the downtown community. That same passion for connection inspired Max to create the @tradestreetfarmersmarket , which recently celebrated its first anniversary! What started with just 14 vendors has grown to 42, bringing an estimated 2,000–3,500 visitors downtown on the first Sunday of every month. 👏 And now, something new is coming to 6th St. 👀 On October 23, Fancy Groceries is introducing @fancygroceriesforher , a women’s fall and holiday pop-up running through December 31! The hope? To turn this temporary addition into a permanent downtown destination, and community support could help make that happen.
