Very happy to host a double album release party with our friends Clay Howard & Jerry Chapman in Gas Hill Drinking Room on December 19, 2026! Doors at 7 PM, show at 8 PM. Tickets are on sale NOW at The Ramkat dot com! A double album release party?!? Yep, you heard us right. Not a double album that both Clay and Jerry collaborated on, though that would be very cool. No, both Jerry and Clay are celebrating the release of individual new albums! Clay's set will feature songs from all three of his 2026 releases: April’s "A Little More Nothin’," June’s cassette release "As if," and "unnecessary covers," arriving November 27! His backing band features the producer of his three 2026 releases, Joey Barnes, as well as Fran Sandifer, Brad Cardille and Doug Davis. And Jerry's celebrating the release of his sixth full-length record, "it doesn't have to be this way," backed by a band of old & new friends alike! When not doing doing extravagant double album release parties, Clay is the singer for both Blacklight Idols and Camel City Yacht Club, and has played over 100 dates in 2026. Jerry Chapman is, for better or worse, a fixture in the Winston-Salem music scene. Through the years, he's played with Two Pound Planet, Life in General, the Plaids, Catastrophe Journal, the Vagabond Saints Society, and the Camel City Yacht Club. Maybe a few more, but who can remember?
