9th Annual Day of the Dead party with live music at Fiddlin' Fish Brewing Fiddlin' Fish Brewing
TODAY, we Play Dead at The Fish! Our 9th Annual Day of the Dead party is today from 1:00-11:00! 💀⚡️🌹
Live Music Schedule 🎸:
1:15 - Pat Bourque
3:00 - Kris Atom
6:00 - Marvelous Funkshun
8:00 - Cosmic Charlie (2 sets)
Cosmic Charlie, Athens, GA’s high-energy Grateful Dead tribute, will headline the event. Rather than mimicking the Dead exactly, Cosmic Charlie chooses to tap into the Dead’s energy and style as a foundation on which to build. The result is healthy balance of creativity and tradition, where both the band and its audience are taken to that familiar edge with the sense that music is actually being MADE here tonight.
Marvelous Funkshun will make their Day of the Dead debut this year. Featuring soaring guitar and pedal steel over a heavy groove, Marvelous Funkshun is a venue and festival favorite. The band has graced the stage with artists such as George Porter Jr. of the Meters, Eric Gales, the late Kofi Burbridge of the Derek Trucks Band, Snoop Dogg and more.
“Let there be songs to fill the air” all afternoon, too! Kris Atom and Pat Bourque will warm things up with live music in the afternoon and set the vibe for the day.
Check out the vendors and see what’s shakin’ on Shakedown Street. There will be a great lineup of vendors on the lot all afternoon, as well as a tie-dye station and pumpkin painting for the kids (and the youthful at heart)!
Food Trucks 🚚:
@robsbearcreekbbq food truck will be here all day with their incredible BBQ fusion menu and @lacallejeramexicanfoodnc authentic Mexican food truck will join the party for dinner.
We’re also releasing a collaboration beer with our friends from @pescamuerta today! Don’t miss the Pesca Muerta Hoppy Lager, out on draft and in cans today! This crisp lager is dry hopped with Strata hops and is the perfect companion for “good tunes, good times, and tight lines” 🍻
Craving a cocktail? Stop by @broadbranchdistillery and check out their special Day of the Dead cocktail menu, in addition to their amazing lineup of regularly available drinks! 🥃
See you on TODAY at The Fish for the 9th Annual Day of the Dead! 💀⚡️🌹
